Apartment Chez Tom (sleeps 4/6)
Superbly located in the very heart of Courchevel 1550, only 50 metres from the main ski lifts, is the self-catered "Chez Tom" in the small apartment building, Residence L'Izard. Situated next to the piste, you can ski back to the rear of the building.
Courchevel 1550 is 300 metres immediately below 1850 and so, of all the villages, has by far the most direct and fastest connections to 1850. "Les Tovets" 6-man high-speed chair will take you to the main lift station in the middle of 1850 in less than 5 minutes, so there is no need to wait for the ski bus.
The apartment has been completely renovated to the highest standard and is extremely cosy, with underfloor heating throughout. It is well appointed, with modern furnishings and the open-plan design of the living area is spacious and comfortable with sofa, sofa bed and dining table. There is also a TV, DVD player and CD player.
The kitchen is fitted with granite worktops plus electric oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave.
A large balcony extending around two sides of the apartment affords stunning views of the surrounding mountains of Courchevel.
The apartment can accommodate up to six adults and is also ideal for families. It has a double bedroom as well as extra-large purpose-built bunk beds set, in the French tradition, in an alcove in the hall and a top quality double sofa bed in the lounge. Both of these last two sleeping areas are screened, offering privacy.
Courchevel 1550 retains the charm of a traditional village but still offers all the facilities, bars, restaurants and shops to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. The floodlit toboggan run from 1850 is adjacent to the apartment and "Les Grangettes" bubble stays open in the evening to allow you to reach the top of the run in 1850.
